We are Downtown Chambersburg

The Downtown Business Council of Chambersburg (DBC) is a membership-based organization focused on improving and promoting downtown Chambersburg. DBC is dedicated to the improvement of the retail district of downtown Chambersburg.

To achieve this goal, the DBC plans and promotes festivals, parades, special events and promotions throughout the year.

Our events include... 

Icing on the Cake, an event part of IceFest which is organized in conjunction with Downtown Chambersburg Inc. and the Capitol Theatre. 

Fandom Fest, on the third Saturday in May

an event to celebrate all of the things we are fans of from books, comics, movies, games, etc.

Old Market Day, on the third Saturday in July

Cocoa Crawl, First Friday of December

We are responsible for the Christmas lights in the trees throughout downtown every Holiday season. We work with the Borough of Chambersburg to bring over 25,000 lights downtown!

The DBC also partners with and sponsors other events that support our downtown businesses and non-profit organizations, such as the Franklin County Historical Society's Haunted Jail, The Capitol Theatre, and Small Business Saturday (organized by Downtown Chambersburg, Inc.)
